The mission of the Software Engineering Department is to educate software engineers who are equipped with strong theoretical foundations and up-to-date technological knowledge, possess creative thinking abilities, embrace ethical values, and are capable of working with a global perspective. While providing our students with in-depth knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies, we aim to develop their problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills. Through our research and development activities, our primary goals are to produce innovative solutions that contribute to the advancement of the sector, strengthen university–industry collaboration, and actively participate in international academic networks.
