Our Faculty Member's Academic Mobility in Hungary:
Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caner Özcan from Karabük University conducted academic activities at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in Hungary between 27–30 April 2026, within the scope of the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility Programme.

Lecture session

During the mobility, Özcan delivered a series of lectures to undergraduate students at the university's Institute of Technical Sciences. The courses covered "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science", "Image Processing Methods", "Fundamentals of Machine Learning", and "Deep Learning and Algorithms". Students were introduced to the latest developments and practical applications in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, and deep learning.

During the visit, Özcan met with academic staff and held discussions on potential joint research projects, academic publications, Erasmus+ collaborations, and student exchange opportunities between the two universities. The contacts established are expected to contribute to strengthening the academic partnership between Karabük University and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
